T-town Wins Three-Team Boys Track Meet

OLNEY -- Teutopolis High School captured a boys triangular track meet Monday evening. The Wooden Shoes won with 92 points followed by Olney 81 and Flora 8.

The Wooden Shoes picked up 11 first place finishes in the team win. Cody Harmon was a winner in two events. He won the triple jump at 38 feet, 4 1/2 inches and the long jump at 20-1.

Noah Blievernicht won the 110 high hurdles in 17.52 seconds. Blake Mette took the high jump with a leap of 6 feet. Kyle Blievernicht was a winner in the 800 in 2:10.80 minutes. Ted Jansen claimed the shot with a throw of 42-3. Andrew McWhorter was a winner in the pole vault at 13 feet. Riley Drees won the 300 hurdles in 40.82 seconds. Scott Isley claimed the 1600 in 5:06.72 minutes.

T-town also nabbed the 800 relay in 1:40.25 and the 1600 relay in 3:57.84.
