EHS Competes at Belleville West Invitational

BELLEVILLE -- Effingham High School competed in the Belleville West Boys Track Invitational Saturday.

"This was a very tough invitational," said EHS Coach Terry Harbaugh. "We competed against the top southern and central teams."

Two individuals placed for the Hearts. Marcus Robinson took fourth in the high jump with a personal record of 6 feet. Sean Zerrusen placed eighth in the 800 with a time of 2:03.18.

"Evan Boggs continues to improve iin the discus by making the finals with a throw of 134 feet, 5 inches for 10th place. Billy Arndt placed 12th with a throw of 130-5 . The top 12 throwers went ot the finals."
