St. A Downs Warriors In Tennis, 9-0; TTown Wins JV Match

Effingham St. Anthony handled Casey-Westfield in tennis competition Tuesday by blanking the Warriors, 9-0.

Evan Mossman kept his opponent scoreless at No. 2 singles, 6-0, 6-0. Manaye Mossman went 6-0, 6-2 at No. 1. Henry Kemme took the third spot by 6-1, 6-0 scores and Adam Rudibaugh won 6-2, 6-0 at No. 4.

Bryant Mossman and Roberto Valdes finished out the singles wins with the exact same scores, 6-2, 6-4.

In doubles play, Tegeler and Rudibaugh were winners at No. 1, 6-0, 6-1. Kemme and Isaac McDonald claimed the No. 2 spot, 6-2, 6-1. Valdes and Matt Herzing took the final spot, 4-6, 6-2, 10-8.

Teutopolis picked up a junior varsity win against Paris Tuesday.

The Wooden Shoes claimed an 8-1 victory.
