T-town Finishes 14th At Triad Invitational Duals Tournament

Teutopolis High School's tennis team finished 1-3 in the Triad Invitational Duals Tournament and finished in 14th place.

Teutopolis lost to Chicago St. Ignatius 5-0 then fell to Carl Sandburg, Chicago 5-0. T-town defeated Triad 2 5-0 then lost to Dunlap 3-2.

"We got off to a slow start against a very good Chicago St. Ignatius team, but improved all day," said T-town Coach Kaye Kimpling. "The weather was just awful as it was cold and very windy. I took 11 players and mixed up the lineup. My goal is to be closer to where we want to be as far as lineups and partners are concerned by next weekend, but we will need a little help from the weatherman. I was pleased with a lot of what I saw as well as saw several things we need to work on as the season progresses."
