New York Governor Approves U.S. Open Tourney

New York Governor Andrew Cuomo Tuesday approved the U.S. Tennis Association’s proposal to hold U.S. Open tennis tournament, without fans, starting on August 31 at Flushing Meadows in Queens.

Protections planned for the Grand Slam tournament include strong testing, having dedicated housing and transportation, limiting player entourages, having extra locker room space, and additional cleaning
