Effingham St. Anthony blanked Effingham 9-0 in tennis action Tuesday.

"We played hard against a dominate St. Anthony team," said EHS Coach Erik Williamson. "The girls knew they had their work cut out for them and they hung in there at all levels.

"St. Anthony is a class act. I'm very proud of the effort the girls put in when faced with such a difficult match. I know going into next week's Apollo Conference Tournament, if we play as tough as we played points tonight, then we have a great opportunity to have success in the tournament."
