Novak Djokovic defeated Roger Federer in a record-breaking Wimbledon men’s final. The four-hour, 55-minute match was the longest final in the history of a tournament and went to an unprecedented fifth-set tiebreaker before Djokovic emerged victorious.

On the women’s side, Simona Halep needed just 56 minutes to defeat Serena Williams for the women’s crown.
