Kyele Mossman's Run at State Ends in Fifth Match

(The Teutopolis Tennis team competed in the IHSA state tournament in Chicago, IL May 23-25.

Teutopolis finished 7th as a team out of the 76 teams participating.

Teutopolis' Kyele Mossman's run at the boys state tennis tournament finally came to an end in his fifth match of the event Saturday.

 

Mossman lost 9-7 to Julian Lopez-Arenas Barquero of Rochester. That left Mossman with a 3-2 record for the tournament.

The Teutopolis doubles team of Seth Probst and Jacob Pals also finished 3-2 at State, Effingham's doubles team of Parker Siner and Ben Donsbach went 1-2, and Teutopolis' Mitchell Deters and Alex Deters went 0-2.
