EHS Bounces Shelbyville in Tennis

Effingham High School played host to Shelbyville and bounced the Rams, 8-1 in boys tennis competition Tuesday.

The Hearts picked up five of the six singles matches. Ben Donsbach claimed the No. 2 spot, 6-0, 6-1 while Noah Mulheron also went 6-0, 6-1. Jacob Sigg blanked his opponent, 6-0, 6-0. Zack Kietel went 6-4, 6-2 and Will O'Brian finished out 6-1, 6-0.

In doubles play, Brennan Barr and Kietel combined to win 6-0, 6-1. Mulheron and Sigg claimed the second match 6-0, 6-0. Will O'Brien and Andrew Qui won at No. 3, 6-2, 6-0.

Effingham finishes regular season play wiwth a 7-4 record.
