T-town Blanks EHS, Highland Beats St. A in Tennis

TEUTOPOLIS -- Teutopolis High School played host to Effingham and blanked the Hearts 9-0 in tennis competition Tuesday.

The Wooden Shoes were led by Kyele Mossman, Alex Probst, Seth Probst, Jacocb Pals, Alex Deters and Max Ruholl in singles play.

In doubles action, A. Probst and Pals combined to win at No. 1 while Logan Waldhoff-A Deters took No. 2 and Devin Sabo and Mitch Deters captured the final.

The Shoes finished 10th during the weekend at the 1A Tom Pitchford Invitational. Winning was Normal U-High followed by  Chicago University, Chicago Northside, Chicago Latin, Dunlap, Hinsdale South, Troy Triad, Metamora, Mount Zion, T-town, Mascoutah, Oak Park Fenwick, Chatham Glenwood, Washington, Morton and Peoria Richwoods.
