T-town Downs Charleston In Tennis Action

TEUTOPOLIS -- Teutopolis easily handled Charleston in tennis competition, 8-1 Thursday.

The Wooden Shoes swept the singles competition. Kyele Mossman won at No. 1, 6-1, 6-1 while Noah Pals took No. 2, 4-6, 6-2, 6-3. Joseph Esker won at No. 3, 6-1, 6-0. Alex  Meinhart had a hard-fought win at No. 5, 6-4, 3-6, 6-2. Jacob Pals blanked his opponent 6-0, 6-0. Devin Sabo took the final match 6-1, 6-4.

In doubles play, T-town won at No. 2 as J. Pals and Seth Probst combined 6-1, 6-0 and at No. 3 where Esker and Corey Schabbing won 6-0, 6-2.
