Teutopolis Now 10-1 in Tennis Action

Teutopolis High School blanked Olney 9-0 in tennis competition Monday. The Wooden Shoes are now 10-1 on the season.

Andy Mersman picked up a hard-fought first set 7-5 at No. 1 then came back to easily claim the match 6-1.

Kyele Mossman went 6-1, 6-3 at No. 2 while Trevor Lee won 6-2, 6-3 at No. 3. Jacob Mette blanked his opponent 6-0, 6-0. Noah Pals took the opener 7-5 before claiming the second set 6-3. Joseph Esker won 6-3, 6-2.

In doubles play, Lee combined with Mette to win 6-3, 6-2 at No. 1. Pals and Alex Probst were the winners at No. 2, 6-0, 6-4. Esker and Alex Meinhart battled in the final match to win 7-6 (9), 6-2.
