Williams To Face Wozniacki In Exhibition

Serena Williams will play her good friend Caroline Wozniacki in a rematch of last year's U.S. Open final, and Stan Wawrinka will face Gael Monfils in exhibition matches March 8 at Madison Square Garden.

Williams, who came within two matches of completing a calendar-year Grand Slam this year, will be participating in the BNP Paribas Showdown for the third time.

The 34-year-old American has won 21 Grand Slam singles titles, including three in 2015, and is currently ranked No. 1. Wozniacki is a two-time major finalist and former No. 1.

Wawrinka owns two major titles. Tickets for the event go on sale on Nov. 1.
