SHELBYVILLE -- Effingham High School traveled to Shelbyville and handed the Rams a 7-1 tennis loss Tuesday.

The lone loss for the Hearts came at the No. 1 singles. EHS took the next five spots as Drake Hill, Ashton Haythrone, Matt Niebrugge, Jake Gadberry and Matt Linders were winners.

In doubles play, Minor combined with Hill for the No. 1 win 6-0, 6-2. Haythrone and Aaron Conley then took the second doubles 6-0, 6-3.

The Hearts are now 6-4 on the season.
