Top-seeded former champion Novak Djokovic survived a hard fall in the third set to advance to the fourth round at Wimbledon with a win over Gilles Simon. The former world No.1 Djokovic, who is the top seed here despite being ranked No. 2, beat the Frenchman by a 6-4, 6-2, 6-4 margin on Centre Court. Leading 3-2 in the third set and with Simon serving, Djokovic slipped while going for a forehand shot and fell hard to the grass. The Serbian was in obvious pain as he grabbed his upper left arm. Djokovic received medical treatment to his left shoulder before finishing out the match. Up next for the French Open runner-up Djokovic is 14th-seeded French star Jo-Wilfried Tsonga, who defeated Jimmy Wang  by a 6-2, 6-2, 7-5 score.

Former Wimbledon runner-up Agnieszka Radwanska and 2011 titlist Petra Kvitova were third-round winners, while Australian Open champion and second-seeded Li Na was ousted Friday at The Championships. Czech Barbora Zahlavova Strycova stunned two-time Grand Slam champion Li 7-6 (7-5), 7-6 (7-5) to reach the fourth round of a major for the  first time in her  career. Next up for Zahlavova Strycova is 16th-seeded Caroline  Wozniacki, who cruised past teenager Ana Konjuh 6-3, 6-0 in 70 minutes. Wozniacki is still seeking a trip into her first-ever Wimbledon  quarterfinal. The fourth-seeded Radwanska cruised to a 6-2, 6-0 victory over Portugal's Michelle Larcher de Brito. The Polish star was the runner-up at the All England Club two years ago. Radwanska will face No. 22 seed Ekaterina Makarova in the next round after the Russian bested Caroline Garcia of France by a 7-5, 6-3 margin. The sixth-seeded left-hander Kvitova outlasted five-time Wimbledon champ Venus Williams 5-7, 7-6 (7-2), 7-5 to improve to an impressive 22-5 lifetime at Wimbledon.
