The Office Wins 35 and Older Slow Pitch Tournament

The Office won the championship of the 35 and older slow pitch softball league tournament Friday night at Hendelmeyer Park.

The Office won twice to claim the championship, downing MOCD 20-7 to hand MOCD its first loss in the double-elimination tournament, and then won the nightcap 7-4.

Mike Owens claimed the win in both games; Brian Cox lost the opener and Keith Whitten took the loss in the championship game.

Sean Nichols homered with one on in the fourth and with one on in the fifth in the championship game.

In the first game, Chet Burns homered in the third with one on, J.B. Miller homered in the third with one on and Sean Nichols homered in the third with one on, part of a six-run inning for The Office.  Jason Burner homered in the sixth with one on and J.B. Miller homered again in the seventh with one on.
