Effingham Truck Sales picked up a 21-14 win over REMAX in Girls Prep League softball competition Thursday evening at Evergreen Hollow Park.

Truck Sales had 19 hits in the contest while Karsyn Gouchenouer pitched a four-hitter. REMAX held an 8-5 lead after two innings but Truck Sales broke loose with 16 runs in the third inning.

In the second contest, Crossroads Bank tallied a 12-9 victory over Spectrum Screen Graphics. Spectrum held a 6-3 lead after the first but Crossroads Bank came back with nine in the second and held on for the win.

Shea Kinkelaar picked up the five-hit pitching win.

At Evergreen Hollow Park

First National Bank of Dieterich trounced Chesnut Family Music 17-1. First National Bank broke a 1-1 tie with a 16-run second. Ava Boehm pitched a no-hitter. The game ended early due to the heat.

In the second contest, Evergreen Mini Golf edged Martin's IGA Plus 6-3. Martin's held a 3-0 lead until the third when Evergreen tallied six runs.

Daischa Piedra pitched a two-hitter in the win.
