PREP LEAGUE

Spectrum Screen Graphics and Joe's Pizza & Pasta picked up victories in Girls Prep Softball League victories Thursday evening.

Spectrum took a 5-1 first inning lead over Effingham Truck Sales and went on for a 17-1 win. Spectrum tallied 12 runs in the second. Emma Huss was the winning pitcher on a three-hitter.

In the second game, Joe's stepped out to a 7-1 first inning lead and tallied a 17-5 victory over Remax. Taylor Armstrong was the winning pitcher on a two-hitter.

At Evergreen Hollow Park

Game One

MINOR LEAGUE

Murphy USA tallied a 9-7 win over Heart & Home in Minor League action Thursday.

Murphy led 9-3 after three innings. Heart & Home came back with four runs in the top of the fourth but fell short. Olivia Spraul pitched a one-hitter.

In the second game, Evergreen Mini Golf took a 10-0 first inning lead and downed Get Fit 12-3. McKenzie Wittenberg pitched the three-hitter.

In the third contest, Chestnut Family Music tallied all six of its runs in the second inning to edge Martin's IGA Plus 6-5. Elizabeth Meinhart was the winning pitcher on a two-hitter.
