The Movin' Maroons had nine hits in the contest led by Allie Uthell with a single, double and an RBI, Brittney Niemerg with a double and two RBI, Lucie Jansen witih a single and an RBI, Eva Meinhart with a double and Ella Kreke with three singles.
Niemerg picked up the win on the mound, going all seven innings, allowng one run on three hits, one walk while striking out 10.
St. Elmo/Brownstown was led by Baker with two singles.

South Central blanked Mulberry Grove 18-0 in four innings Monday.
The Cougars led 8-0 after two innings then had a 10-run third.
Taegan Webster threw a no-hitter with two walks and seven strikeouts.
Emily Rose had a single, a home run and drove in six, Jaylyn Michel had two singles, a triple and an RBI for the winners. Ella Watwood added two singles and two RBI. Brookyn Garrett finished with a single and two RBI.
South Central improved to 2-0 on the season and is back in action today at Webber Township (Bluford).

Newton played host to Arthur-Lovington/Atwood-Hammond and sent the visitors home with a 15-5 loss in six innings Monday.
The Eagles banged out 13 hits in the contest. Kayla Kocher had two singles, a triple and drove in three runs while Bailee Frichtl had a single, double and an RBI, Camryn Martin a single and triple and Lilly Kessler two singles and an RBI
Newton edged out to a 1-0 opening inning lead and tallied four in the second. ALAH tied the score in the top of the third. But Newton scored three in the fourth, six in the fifth and ended the game in the sixth with a run.
Kocher went four innings on the mound for the win. She allowed five runs on two hits, three walks and six strikeouts. Avery Mulvey threw two innings allowing three hits while striking out four.

Centralia Christ Our Rock hosted Clay City/North Clay and edged the visitors, 2-1 Monday.
CORL took a 1-0 opening inning lead and tallied one more in the fourth. CC/NC scored its run in the sixth.
Morgan Hance suffered the tough-luck loss, going all six innings, allowing only one hit, three walks and striking out 10. Both runs were unearned.
Clay City/North Clay had four hits led by Gracie Barber with two singles and an RBI. CC/NC dropped to 2-1 on the season and 1-1 in Midland Trail Conference play.
The squad is back in action today at Grayville.

The Wooden Shoes had trouble offensively finishing with four hits. They committed two errors. Erin Althoff led T-town with a single and double.
L. Blagoue threw all seven innings for Salem, allowing no runs on four hits, two walks while striking out 15.

Fairfield ran out to a 3-0 opening inning lead and never looked back in a 10-0 win in six innings over Altamont Monday.
A. Rice and R. Wells combined for a no-hitter. Rice went fuor innings for the win, allowing two walks and striking out six. R. Wells came on to finish out the final two innings, allowing no walks while striking out five.
Grace Lemke threw a good game, allowing only four hits. She gave up eight walks but struck out 14.
The Indians committed six errors.

CHBC had four hits led by Madison Wojcik with two singles and Ryleigh Sarver with a double and an RBI.
The Bobcats committed six errors and gave up 10 walks.
