Softball Bulldogs Delayed Til Monday

The St. Anthony Bulldogs and the Cumberland Lady Pirates were rained out Saturday in the championship game of the Class 1A softball sectional at Central A & M in Moweaqua.

The game has been re-scheduled for 11am Monday.  The plan is to play the game at Central A & M if weather and grounds permit; otherwise the game will be played wherever they can get a field ready.

The winner is to play in the 1A super sectional at Athens. That game has been postponed to Tuesday.  The other sectional championship feeding into Athens, at Hardin Calhoun, was also interrupted by rain Saturday and will be finished on Monday.
