WINDSOR -- Effingham St. Anthony High School held a 6-1 lead in the top of the fifth against Windsor but the game was stopped due to weather.

The Bulldogs had one out and no one on when the game was halted. It will be rescheduled at a later date.

 

At St. Elmo

St. Elmo/Brownstown downed Ramsey 12-4 behind a 12-hit attack.

The Eagles were led by M. Maxey with a single and double, R. Feezel with a single, triple and three RBI and S. Austin with a single, double and an RBI.

S. Austin picked up the pitching win going all seven innings allowing eight hits, two walks and striking out three. Ramsey held a 3-2 lead after three innings and a 4-2 lead after four. But St. Elmo/Brownstown came back with five runs in the sixth and five in the seventh.

St. Elmo/Brownstown improves to 2-8 overall.
