WSS, Neoga Blank Opponents In Softball

The Hatchets tallied single runs in the second, third and sixth, two in the fourth and three in the fifth behind 12 hits and four Altamont errors.

Gabby Vonderheide, Hannah Hayes, Ava Richards and Makenna Tabor had two hits each for the winners. Tabor had a single, triple and three RBI, Vonderheide a single, double and an RBI, Hayes two doubles and Richards two singles.

Karlie Bean picked up the win going all seven innings, allowing no runs on four hits, four walks while striking out 12.

Altamont was led by Olivia Eckhardt with a triple and Bailey Teasley with a double.

Neoga picked up a 10-0 victory in five innings over Oblong Wednesday.

The Indians edged out to a 1-0 first inning lead then had a six-run third, a single run in the fourth and two in the fifth.

L. Romack threw a two-hitter with three walks and five strikeouts.

W. O'Dell led the way for Neoga in hitting with two singles, a double and three RBI, I. Walk with a single, double and an RBI and A. Fearday with a triple and four RBI.
