Windsor/Stewardson-Strasburg captured a 10-1 win over Altamont in junior high school softball action Thursday.

WSS took a 5-1 first inning lead and that was the game.

S. Vonderheide picked up the pitching win on a six hitter. Vonderheide also led in hits with two singles while Wernsing added a double.

Altamont was led by Becker and Reardon with two singles each. Altamont drops to 3-10 on the season and 3-2 in the National Trail Conference.

At Strasburg

At Beecher City

South Central took a 4-0 first inning lead then added on six more in the second and downed Cowden-Herrick/Beecher City 15-0 in five innings Thursday.

Brooklyn Garrett threw a no-hitter with three walks.

She also led in hitting with a double, home run and six RBI. Brooke Cowger had a single, triple and an RBI and Taegan Webster a single, double and an RBI.

South Central remains unbeaten at 11-0 on the season.

At Beecher City

At Salem

Teutopolis traveled to Salem Franklin Park and improved its record to 11-5 on the season with a 9-2 victory.

The Wooden Shoes had a ton of hits with 19. Wilkins had two singles, a double and an RBI while Konkel had two singles, a double and four RBI. Sarchet and Kremer had three singles each. Kremer added an RBI. Mette chipped in with two singles.

Konkel was the winning pitcher, throwing a four-hitter with five walks and six strikeouts.

At Salem
