Effingham Flames Win NSA Southern World Series

The Effingham Flame 10u Black softball team claimed the championship of the NSA Southern World Series.

Members of the team include Kristen Armstrong (outfield/infield), Natalie Armstrong (pitcher/outfield), Raegan Boone (pitcher/infield/outfield), Kaydee Borton (infield/outfield), Sidney Donaldson (outfield/infield), Emma Jones (infield/outfield), Maddie Kibler (catcher/infield/outfield), Sydney Kibler (pitcher/infield), Makala McDaniel (infield/outfield), Elena Niebrugge (infield/outfield) and Kelcy Stone (infield/outfield) all from Effingham Central and Macy Wright (infield/outfield) from Ramsey.

Head coach was Melissa Armstrong while assistant coaches were Jami Stone and Rich Ohnesorge.

The team finished its season with a 50-14 record.
