Girls Minor, Prep Softball -- June 5

Spectrum Screen Graphics edged Bahrns Equipment 7-6 in Girls Minor Softball League competition Monday at Evergreen Hollow Park.

Spectrum edged out to a 1-0 first inning lead. Bahrns came back in the top of the second with six runs but Spectrum tallied six more in the bottom of the frame for the win.

Macy Mifflin led in hitting with two singles and an RBI for Spectrum.

Bahrns was led by Alexia Jones with a double and an RBI, Sierra Trexler with a double and Liv Hoene with two singles and two RBI.

In the second contest, Dieterich Bank bounced REMAX 11-3. Dieterich Bank tallied six in the first and five in the second.

Sydney Cunningham had a triple and drove in three runs for the winners. Maddie Starkey, Ella Macklin and Vivyona Vaultonburg had two singles each. Macklin had two RBI and Starkey and Vaultonburg one each.

Gabby McCubbin and Madison Tonn had two singles each. Tonn had four RBI and McCubbin one.

Joe's Pizza & Pasta split wins in Girls Prep Softball League action Monday at Evergreen Hollow Park.

In the first contest, Crossroads Bank downed Joe's 13-8. Crossroads tallied five in the first and eight in the second.

Laney Coffin threw a no-hitter. Jennifer Jamison had the lone hit for Crossroads with a single and two RBI.

In the second contest, Joe's Pizza & Pasta came back to down Fonner Oral Supply, 16-7.

Joe's tallied 15 runs in the first inning. Joe's had only one hit, a single by Abby Thoele.

Taylor Quandt and Kaydee Borton had a single each for Fonner.
