Girls Prep, Minor Softball Leagues -- June 1

In the Prep Girls Softball League Thursday, Fonner Oral Surgery pounded Joe's Pizza & Pasta, 20-5.

Peyton Quandt threw a no-hitter. Kylea Hodge had two singles and two RBI while Taylor Quandt had triple and three RBI for the winners.

In the second contest, Crossroads Bank defeated Fonner Oral Surger, 11-8. Crossroads took a 3-0 first inning lead then tacked on eight in the second.

Macey Christy had the lone extra base hit for the winners with a double and two RBI.

Rylee Hodge had both hits for Fonner with two singles.

Girls Minor League

Dieterich Bank handed Spectrum Screen Graphics a 9-6 loss in Girls Minor League action Thursday.

Dieterich Bank had three run innings in the first, second and third. Maddie Starkey had two singles and an RBI for the winners.

Leading Spectrum were Ellie Link and Ella Johnson with a double each. Johnson had two RBI. Kylie Osteen had a single, double and two RBI.

In the second contest, Chesnut Family Music took a 6-3 opening inning lead and finished out edging Bahrns Equipment, 11-10.

Alyssa Martin had a single, double and two RBI for the winners. Lindsay Rensner, Olivia Kreke and Callie Emmerich had two singles each. Kreke had three RBI, Rensner and Emmerich had one each.

Leading Bahrns were Sierra Traxler with a double and an RBI, Aubree Newlin and Madyson Hodge with two singles each. Hodge had three RBI and Newlin one.
