McMahon Meats/Bud Light claimed the Teutopolis Memorial  Day Softball Tournament.

McMahon Meats/Bud Light men’s fastpitch softball team won the Teutopolis Memorial Day Softball Tournament during the weekend.

McMahon went 5-0 in the tourney. The squad won its first game 8-1 against Joes/Coors Light Thursday. Tony Kreke was the winning pitcher.

Saturday, McMahon won against St. Charles Tribe. The team scored 18 unanswered runs to win 20-10. Michael Drees picked up the pitching victory. Also on Saturday, the team played Budweiser and won 10-1. Tony Kreke was the winning pitcher.

Sunday, the championship semifinal game was played against Pinckneyville Falcons and McMahon won  7-0, Tony Kreke took the pitching win.  In the championship game, McMahon Meats squared up with Koerner Miller Lite. The final score was 6-2, with Tony Kreke picking up another win.

McMahon Meats also took home other awards from the tournament. Jason Runde won the Most Valuable Player award and the Chris Hutts Home Run award. Also taking home a trophy was Tony Kreke for Most Valuable Pitcher.

McMahon Meats will now travel to Kelso, Missouri for the Kelso Classic Tournament June 9-11.
