Flora Claims Win Over Newton In Softball Play

FLORA -- Flora played host to Newton and handed the Eagles a 13-3 loss in softball competition Monday.

The Eagles held a 2-0 lead in the second but Flora came back with a three-run third then added on four in the fifth and six in the seventh for the win.

The Wolves banged out 17 hits in the contest.

Newton had five hits led by Earnest with a single and an RBI.
