Neoga Scores Big In Softball Win

BEECHER CITY -- Neoga scored big and finished off a 16-0 softball victory over Cowden-Herrick/Beecher City in three innings Thursday.

The Indians held a 4 -0 first inning lead then pushed that to 8-0 in the second and doubled that with an eight-run third.

Neoga had 10 hits in the contest led by Titus with a single, double and two RBI, Partlow with three singles and an RBI, Saunders with a double and three RBI, Lee with a double and two RBI, Gentry with a triple and an RBI and Dryden with a double.

CHBC had two hits, singles by Doty and Wojcik.

Titus picked up the pitching win on the two-hitter with two walks and four strikeouts.
