Fonner Oral Surgery edged Evergreen Mini Golf in a big scoring Girls Prep League softball game at Evergreen Hollow Park, 17-16 Thursday.

Evergreen took a 2-1 first inning lead. Fonner pushed ahead 4-2 in the second. Then the game exploded as Evergreen tallied 14 runs in the top of the third while Fonner came back with 13 in the bottom of the frame to win.

Grace Karolewicz had a triple while Chloe Koester had a double for the winners.

Izzy Hakman and Maria Poston had two singles each for Evergreen.

In the second contest, Crossroads Bank had a 12-run second inning and went on for a 14-13 win over Joe's Pizza & Pasta.

Crossroads had five hits led by Grace Karolewicz with a single and double. Meredith Schafer pitched a six-hitter for the win.

Joe's was led by Taylor Quandt and Macey Christy with two singles each.

Minor League

Chesnut Family Music edged out to a 2-0 first inning lead and finished with a two-run 7-5 win over Martin's IGA Plus in Girls Minor League action Thursday.

Charly Kreke picked up the pitching win on a six-hitter. Chesnut was led by Ava Walton with two singles.

Olivia Raddatz had a double for Martin's.

In the second game, Heart & Home Realty's Sydney Kibler pitched a no-hitter for a 4-0 victory over Dieterich Bank.

Maddie Kibler had a double for the winners.

The third game victory went to REMAX over Spectrum Screen Graphics, 11-0.

REMAX tallied five in the first and six in the second. Laney Coffin pitched a no-hitter. Coffin aided her own cause offensively with a single and double.

Elena Niebrugge and Madi Kirk had a single and double each while Marissa Daniels had two singles.
