Girls Prep Softball League -- July 9

Crossroads Bank trailed Fonner Oral Surgery 7-3 after two innings but came back with a six-run third and a four-run fourth for a 13-7 win in Girls Prep Softball League play Thursday at Evergreen Hollow Park.

Crossroads banged out 14 hits in the contest with five players getting multiple hits. Riley Rothrock had three singles while Megan Bierman, Shelby Rieman, Caroline McDevitt and Emma Kessler had two singles each.

McKenzie Wittenburg pitched a four-hitter.

In the second contest, Spectrum Screen Graphics bounced Joe's Pizza & Pasta 18-7 with a 14-run second inning.

Taylor Armstrong had a double for the winners while Ella Shuler had two singles.

Camryn Duncan had a double for Joe's.

Bahrns Kubota edged REMAX 6-5 in the final contest. Bahrns took a 4-0 first inning lead. REMAX came back with single runs in the second and third and took a 5-4 lead in the top of the fourth. Bahrns tallied two runs in the bottom of the fourth to pull out the victory.

Bahrns was led in hitting by Kimberly Brummer with a single and double.
