Girls Minor, Prep League Results -- June 4

GIRLS MINOR LEAGUE

First National Bank of Dieterich stepped out to a 5-0 first inning lead and went on to beat Martin's IGA Plus 11-6 Thursday evening at Evergreen Hollow Park.

Ella Kinkelaar picked up the one-hit pitching win. Kenzie Kabbes had two singles and Kinkelaar a double.

In the second contest, Murphy USA held a 3-0 first inning lead then tacked on six runs in the third for a 9-3 victory over Chesnut Family Music.

Reagan Boone pitched the one-hitter. Niebrugge led Murphy USA with a double.

GIRLS PREP LEAGUE

Fonner Oral Surgery scored 10 runs in the third inning and claimed a 13-3 win over Spectrum Screen Graphics Thursday at Evergreen Hollow Park.

Grace Karolewicz and Allie Poe had two singles each for the winners. Taylor Armstrong, Haley Dively and Gracie Hibbets had two singles each for Spectrum.

In the second contest, Crossroads Bank took a 4-1 first inning lead and went on for a 17-10 win over Bahrns Kubota.

McKenzie Whittenberg had four singles for the winners while Caroline McDevitt added two singles.

Riley Guy led Bahrn's with a single and double.

Remax captured the third game over Joe's Pizza and Pasta, 6-4. Joe's held a 4-1 first inning lead but Remax came back with a five-run fourth.

Remax had only two hits in the contest, singles by Alexis Stephens and Krysta Dasenbrock.

Britney Walls had a single and double for Joe's while Reese Jones added a double.
