National Trail All-Conference Softball Team Named

The National Trail All-Conference Softball Team was named. Earning the Most Valuable Player award was Effingham St. Anthony's Hunter Niebrugge.

Also named to the team were Ashley Goeckner (Altamont), Kendall Knop (Stewardson-Strasburg/Windsor), Jenna Woltman (St. Anthony), Kyrstyn Fitch (St. Elmo/Brownstown), Casi Blazich (Neoga), Abby King (South Central), Elizabeth Biggs (Altamont), Mallorie Vahling (Dieterich), Bayleigh Tabor (Stewardson-Strasburg/Windsor), Baylee Neece (Neoga), Amanda Pierce (Beecher City/Cowden-Herrick) and Baylee Scholes (St. Elmo/Brownstown).

Honorable Mention went to Shelbi Stone (Altamont), Brooke Burns (Altamont), Keidron Duckwitz (Altamont), Kieran Effner (Neoga), Paige Koester (St. Anthony), Morgan Gardewine (St. Anthony), Megan Nuxoll (St. Anthony), Maddie Schuette (St. Anthony), Darby Moss (St. Elmo/Brownstown) and Mia Campbell (South Central).

St. Anthony finished first in the conference standings with a 7-0 record followed by Altamont 5-2, Stew-Stras/Windsor 5-2, Neoga 4-3, St. Elmo/Brownstown 3-4, South Central 2-5, Dieterich 2-5 and Beecher City/Cowden-Herrick 0-7.

Stew-Stras/Windsor won the tournament while St. Anthony was second and Altamont third.
