CASEY -- Casey-Westfield took a 4-0 first inning lead and downed Teutopolis 6-1 in junior high softball action Monday.

Casey-Westfield's C. Maulding pitched seven innings of one-hit ball with 17 strikeouts. T-town drops to 12-7-1 on the season.

Cumberland edged Windsor/Stewardson-Strasburg 2-1 with a run in the bottom of the seventh inning.

Libby Dunaway improved her pitching record to 10-0 with a seven-hitter, one walk and 13 strikeouts.

Maddy Hendrix went two for four and scored a run for Cumberland.
