Effingham St. Anthony edged Sullivan 8-7 in a game that was continued from the Altamont Tournament on August 16. The two squads were rained out that day in the bottom of the fourth inning with Sullivan ahead 7-5. St. Anthony was up to bat and had runners on first and second with no outs.

The Bullupups came out on top 8-7. After that contest, the squad completed the original matchup with St. Anthony winning 10-3.

L. Day had two singles and ddrove in a run while L. Day had two singles, a double and two RBi and Kinkelaar two singles.

At St. Anthony

Effingham took an 8-1 first inning lead and went on for a 15-9 win over Shelbyville.

The Mustangs had 12 hits in the contest led by Carsyn Fearday with a single, home run and three RBI, Kaitlyn Kinkelaar, single, double, triple and two RBI and Lauren Douthit, 2 singles, 1 RBI

At Teutopolis

Teutopolis claimed a 4-3 win over Jasper County in Tuesday play. Jasper County took a 1-0 first inning lead and led 3-1 after four innings. T-town then came back with a three-run fifth to pull out the victory.

E. Deters had two singles and two RBI for the winners. Niebrugge picked up the pitching win in relief. T-town is now 9-3-1 on the season and back in action Friday at Windsor/Stewardson-Strasburg.

In a B contest, Jasper County claimed the win 13-3.

At Altamont

Altamont pounded home 12 runs to down St. Elmo/Brownstown 12-2 in six innings.

Altamont led 2-0 and had four run innings in the fifith and sixth.

Maxey led SEB with two singles and a double. SEB drops to 0-2 in the National Trail Conference and 2-6 overall.

South Central edged out to a 5-4 first inning lead then had a 14-run second and finished with a 19-4 win over Raccoon.

Sydnee Garrett and Kylee Shultz had a double each for the winners. Garrett had two RBI and Shultz one RBI.
