Effingham's Collier, Weis Named to All-Apollo Softball Squad

Effingham High School's Hope Collier earned First Team honors on the All-Apollo Conference softball team. Collier is only a sophomore. Madison Weis, another EHS sophomore, took Second Team honors.

All-Conference pitchers were senior Fallon Conner (Mount Zion), senior Morgan Mansur (Mount Zion) and freshman Cassi Dow (Mattoon).

First Team honors went to junior Bailey Sarff (Mount Zion), junior Alex Davis (Mount Zion), sophomore Sara Wilkerson (Mount Zion), senior Riley Phipps (Mattoon), senior Kaitlyn Bath (Mattoon), junior Kasey Considine (Mattoon), freshman Summer Roberts (Paris) and sophomore Mallory Daniels (Salem).

Second Team honors went to junior Kara Elwick (Mount Zion), junior Bailey Gowin (Mount Zion), freshman Allie Davis (Mount Zion), senior Hannah Pruden (Mattoon), freshman Avery Jackson (Mattoon), sophomore Katherine Kennedy (Charleston) and senior Heather Henson (Salem).
