Welcome Home Sunday For T-town Girls Softball Team

The Teutopolis High School girls softball team will be welcomed home Sunday with a celebration.

The Wooden Shoes will be riding in the Teutopolis Knights of Columbus parade that begins at noon. After the parade, at approximately 1:30 p.m., everyone is invited to celebrate and honor the girls at a ceremony at J.H. Griffin Gym.

T-town will take on Beecher at 5:30 p.m. in the Class 2A State Tournament at EastSide Centre in East Peoria Friday. If the Shoes win, they will play for the state championship Saturday at 5:30 p.m. and if they lose, they will play for third place at 3 p.m.
