Altamont Blanks Neoga in Softball

ALTAMONT -- Altamont improved its National Trail Conference softball record to 3-0 and it's overall mark to 15-3 by blanking Neoga 10-0 in five innings Monday.

Altamont held a 2-0 first inning lead then tallied six in the second and ended the game with two in the fourth. Deidre Ledbetter pitched a four-hitter with no walks and eight strikeouts.

Ledbetter also had a triple and drove in three runs while Josie Phillips had two doubles and two RBI, Madison Ohnesorge a single and double and Lauren White with a home run and three RBI.

Neoga was led by Casi Blazich with a single and double.
