The Seattle Sounders beat the Mexico City-based Pumas 3-0 Wednesday night in Seattle to win the CONCACAF Champions League title, becoming the first Major League Soccer team to do so since the current format was adopted in 2008.

The championship is for club teams in North and Central America and the Caribbean. Last night’s win came after the teams played to a 2-2 draw in the first leg last week in Mexico City.
