St. A, T-town Both Play To Ties In Soccer

PANA -- Effingham St. Anthony traveled to Pana for high school soccer competition Saturday and played to a 0-0 tie.

Pierce Verdeyen, a sophomore, had five saves. The Buldogs had 19 shots.

"We hope to heal up before our next game," said St. Anthony Coach Martin Reyes.

The Bulldogs will travel to Arthur Tuesday.

 

At Teutopolis

Teutopolis and Trenton Wesclin played to a 1-1 tie Saturday.

The goal for the Wooden Shoes was scored by Nolan Runde. T-town is now 10-3-2 on the season.

The Shoes are back in action today hosting Robinson during Senior Night. Game time is 5 p.m. with senior night introductions immediately before the contest.
