ALTAMONT -- Altamont/Cowden-Herrick pounded Arthur-Lovington/Atwood-Hammond 11-1 in high school soccer action Monday.

Tucker Short started the scoring for Altamont/CHBC at 21:14, then tallied two more goals, one at 19:25 and one at 14:27 giving the Indians a 3-0 lead.

Arthur-Lovington/Atwood-Hammond scored its lone goal at 12:11.

Noah Klimpel scored on an assist by Isaac Crow at 5:05. Tucket tallied his fourth goal before Henry Robbins scored giving the Indians a 6-1 lead after the first half.

In the second half, Kolby Brewer scored on an assist from Noah Klimpel at 38:10. Sam Mathesius then tallied for Altamont at 17:14. Jordan Miller hit the net at 9:07. Jack Milller scored on an assist by Max Runge at 5:30. Martin Cook then finished out for Altamont/CHBC with the final goal at 3:37.

Altamont had 33 shots, 18 on goal. ALAH had three shots, one on goal. Altamont's Brennyn Abendroth had seven saves.

Tucker has now scored eight goals in two matches.
