Major League Soccer returned from its coronavirus shutdown Wednesday night with a 2-1 Orlando City win over Inter Miami in the opening game of the MLS is Back tournament at ESPN’s Wide World of Sports complex at Disney World.

There were no fans present. Before the game, nearly 200 players went on the field for an eight-minute, 46-minute moment of silence to protest racial injustice, representing how long George Floyd was on the ground with a police officer's knee on his neck.

Some players raised their right arm, wore face masks that said “Black Lives Matter” and several players took a knee.
