Major League Soccer and the players' union agreed to a six-year labor deal Wednesday, avoiding the league's threatened lockout.

The agreement clears the way for a tournament to be played in Florida after the season was suspended because of the pandemic.

For the tournament, the league's 26 teams would play matches without fans at ESPN's Wide World of Sports Complex at Disney World, with it reportedly lasting no more than 35 days.
