The U.S. men’s national team urged the U.S. Soccer Federation Wednesday to triple what it pays the U.S. women's team, accusing them of discriminating against the women. The reigning World Cup champion women's team's union has filed a gender discrimination suit against the USSF. The men's union said the USSF wants the men’s pay to stay the same as in their expired contract as “a desperate attempt to cover up the fact that what they did to the women . . . is indefensible.”
