T-town Wins Over Pana, Newton Edges Altamont In Soccer

PANA -- Teutopolis High School scored nine goals in whopping Pana, 9-2 in soccer action Monday.

The Wooden Shoes took a 4-0 first half lead as Linus Tanneryd, Derek Deters, Alessio Bucciarelli and Kaleb Bannick scored one each.

In the second half, Tanneryd tallied his second goal on a placekick. Bannick scored his second goal while Jack Poelker hit net at 18:50. Tanneryd scored a third goal, also on a placekick and Bannick finished out with this third score at 8:30.

T-town improves to 8-2 on the season and is back in action hosting St. Anthony Thursday at 5 p.m.

 

At Altamont

Newton edged Altamont 3-0 in action Monday.

The Eagles scored all three goals in the first half.

Altamont had 10 shots, two on goal. Kenny Robbins and Kolby Brewer were goalies and combined for 11 saves.

Newton had 18 shots, 14 on goal and two saves.
