CHARLESTON -- Teutopolis High School started things off right in the Charleston Red & Gold Soccer Invitational by bouncing Monticello to the tune of 6-0 Wednesday.

Caleb Ordner had a big night, scoring three goals for the Shoes. He opened the scoring in the first half with an unassisted goal before Blake Kitten connected to push the score up to 2-0.

In the second half, the Shoes owned the net with four more goals. Ordner connected on his second goal when Alex Probst sent a shot from the left side.

Joseph Esker followed with an unassisted goal making it 4-0. Probst then tallied a goal of his own with a little over 10 minutes remaining to make it 5-0.

The final goal came when Ordner connected with a little over two minutes showing on the clock.

T-town will now face Mattoon, who played to a 2-2 tie with Charleston, Friday.
