(Oskaloosa, IA) -- It appears that Tony Stewart's chances of making this year's Chase for the Sprint Cup are over. After suffering a broken right leg during wreck at a sprint car race in Iowa on Monday night, the three-time Cup champion is bound to miss some time behind the wheel.  ESPN cites a medical expert that says Stewart's broken tibia and fibula will require a second surgery in addition to the one he had following the wreck. The injury typically requires a healing time of between four and eight weeks.
