(Glendale, AZ) -- The purchase of the Phoenix Coyotes from the NHL is complete. The NHL's Board of Governors approved the sale and ownership transfer of the franchise to IceArizona, a group of several businessmen including George Gosbee and Anthony LeBlanc. NHL commissioner Gary Bettman says an over four-year situation is finally over.

Bettman and members of the ownership group met the media Tuesday in Glendale. The move ends the saga that stretched over four years after previous owner Jerry Moyes opted to put the team into Chapter 11 Bankruptcy in May of 2009.
