The second day of the IHSA State Bass Fishing Tournament was rained out Saturday at Carlyle Lake.

As a result, the first day results are the final results, meaning Teutopolis finished in eighth place.

The Teutopolis team caught five fish in Friday's action.  The fish weighed a total of nine pounds.

Jeff Niebrugge is the head coach of the Teutopolis bass fishing team, and Tony Will is the driver.  Cody Will is a team member, but he and Tony were both busy at the state high school baseball tournament.  Other T-Town team members are sophomores Colin Niebrugge and Collin Jansen.
