Tortorella, Flyers Agree To Four-Year Deal, Stanley Cup Schedule

John Tortorella and the Philadelphia Flyers have agreed to a four-year deal for him to be their new head coach, ESPN reported Thursday.

Tortorella most recently coached the Columbus Blue Jackets for six seasons, ending with the 2020-21 season. He’s also coached the Tampa Bay Lightning, winning a Stanley Cup with them in 2004, the New York Rangers and Vancouver Canucks, and has twice won the Jack Adams Award as the NHL’s top coach.
